Anyone can use Magoosh, but it's best for individuals who fall into one of the following categories:

• Self-studiers: those who prefer to study on their own time and at their own pace.
• Video-lovers: those who learn better by watching video than through reading or live-learning. We have over 1000 explanation videos explaining how to tackle specific questions in detail.
• Busy students: those who do not have much time to study and want to sneak in a practice session here and there.

What are your study schedules like?

They include a list of recommended materials and weekly/daily checklists of tasks you need to complete to keep you motivated and on track.

How does the course work?

It’s 100% online. No DVDs. No books. It's all online. It works on both Macs and PCS: any device with an internet connection!

How close is the material to the actual SAT?

Extremely close. Our experienced instructors use metrics to ensure the difficulty and types of questions match those on the actual test. We rank the questions by difficulty to help you master the basics and progress towards your target score.

Can I purchase multiple SAT accounts? Can I purchase multiple ACT and SAT accounts together?

You definitely can! Email us at sat@magoosh.com and we'll work something out with you.

Do you offer essay grading?

While Magoosh doesn’t grade your practice essays for you, we do offer assistance and SAT writing test strategies via email.

Which types of payment do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover as well as PayPal. We process our transactions through Paypal, so your credit card info is safe.

How many times will I be charged?

Just one time for any paid plan. We don't store your credit card information, so we definitely won't charge you on a monthly basis or anything like that. It's a one-time, upfront fee, and that's it.

Do you have iPad/iPhone/Android access?

Yes we do! You can access all of the lessons anywhere with our apps, and you can use your mobile browser to get full access to the site.

Do I need to have taken the test before?

Nope! :) Many of our students are first-time SAT test-takers, so if you're ready to start studying now, you should go ahead and sign up! Our lessons start from the beginning and teach you everything you need to know about the SAT, so taking the test prior is not required.
