Yes! Our SAT plans come with two study modes to support you whether you're preparing for the digital SAT or the paper SAT. You can conveniently toggle between modes from your account whenever you need to. The digital SAT version includes content tailored to what you'll see on the actual digital SAT exam. Please note: because the digital SAT is a condensed exam, our digital SAT prep differs from our regular SAT prep. For example, it includes 800+ practice questions and there is no diagnostic test. While Magoosh doesn’t grade your practice essays for you, we do offer assistance and SAT writing test strategies via email.

Nope! Previously having taken the test is not required. Many of our students are first-time SAT test-takers, so if you're ready to start studying now, you should go ahead and sign up! Our lessons will teach you everything you need to know about the SAT, and our instructors go in-depth on topics you may not have fully covered in your classes.

Our premium prep for the paper SAT includes an online diagnostic test to help you assess your strengths and weaknesses. The diagnostic test takes about 60 to 75 minutes to complete — it doesn't have to be in one sitting.
